Due to a defect in the engine compartment, the battery wiring could be cut. As a consequence, the car could lose electrical power while driving, increasing the risk of accidents. The Renault Megane RS affected with this recall were manufactured at the Palencia factory between 1 February 2018 and 9 May 2018.
